THE SQUAREHEAD INVASION - 2011
multi-channel interactive video installation

The Squarehead Invasion is a multi-channel interactive video installation containing a series of vintage films on discarded television sets. Each television reveals a different collection of films ranging from vintage commercials, corporate films, and news reports that are thematically tied to technology, body image, and capitalism. Each character within these films has had their heads replaced by animated digital cubes or "Squareheads." The viewer is invited to de-scramble the video based on where they are standing.
